'You have to love your body, respect it and treat it well,' Irina told Viva. 'I spend time doing cardio because it makes me feel good.'
'I believe in eating what I like and sweating it out in the gym,' she added. 'I work out every day and avoid exercises that make my body too muscular. I focus on activities like running, boxing, cycling and Pilates.'
And it's a routine that pays off as Irina has graced the covers of dozens of magazines, strutted her stuff on the most prestigious catwalks, been seen on billboards across the globe, and dated the highest earning football player in the world for five years - but Irina also has her eye on another prize.
Last year, Irina starred in a big screen remake of Hercules alongside Dwayne Johnson - and reveals that she wants her next role to be of the espionage variety.
Speaking about Hercules, Irina said: 'It was great! It was my first film, but I had a very important role in the movie. The director made me feel very comfortable, and Dwayne is smart, down-to-earth and just amazing. It was a dream come true.'
And when asked if she would consider taking on more film roles, the supermodel revealed: 'The Hercules role just kind of came to me, but I had a lot of fun trying something new. I’d say it’s definitely a possibility. My dream acting role would be to play a Russian spy!'Â
